I am Nikita Cherevko. I have spent fourteen years as a backend engineer — logistics, ecommerce, fintech and pricing — on systems where a count has to be right, because a number that is wrong costs somebody money.

A door is the same problem in a different place. A ten-visit pass is worth ten visits and not eleven, and a scan that already happened is not counted twice. That part is built and tested.

Your business's data is separated from every other business's, and a test that proves it fails the build if it ever stops being true. The admission rules are ordinary code with no framework around them, so they can be tested directly, and they fail closed: where a rule cannot be read, the gate turns someone away rather than letting them through. A mistake should cost somebody an apology, not an unauthorised entry.

I am building the rest on my own. That is why there are no dates on the progress page, and it is also why there is no support queue: when something breaks at your door, you are talking to the person who wrote the code.
